What is North Node in Synastry?
North Node is actually not a planetary body.
North Node (NN) and South Node (SN) represent two points where the orbit of the Moon intersects with the earth’s path around the Sun.
When you look at a synastry or natal chart, you may also see the North Node being referred as Lunar node, Dragon’s Head or True Node.
North Node represents what your soul wants to accomplish and learn moving forward, therefore it is a key point in understanding your growth and expansion as a person. South Node represents the lessons learned, behaviors you are accustomed to or in other words, your comfort zone. Ideally, you want to move out of your comfort zone into less comfortable but more rewarding path of the North Node.
For this reason, North Node aspects in synastry shouldn’t be overlooked. In a relationship, when two individuals’ North Nodes come together, your souls recognize each other and want to work together.
What does North Node conjunct North node aspect in Synastry mean?
Nodes change signs in about every 1,5 years. North Node conjunct North Node aspect in synastry is seen when people are of the same age, or when there is a big age gap. Regardless, when you have the same North Node with a person, they are walking a similar soul development path as you.
In North Node conjunct North Node aspect, your meeting may feel destined. You will feel an immediate pull towards this person.
The more you get to know each other, more you will realize that your vision for the future is aligned in many ways, even if you have grown up in different cultures or environments.
