  • Transit Saturn conjunct Ascendant

Transiting Saturn spends about 2.5 years in each house. Anytime it aspects a natal planet or angle such as your Ascendant, it marks a serious and (quite possibly) a stressful period. And since Saturn is a slow moving planet, changes and effects these aspects bring lingers a long time. Transit Saturn conjunct Ascendant aspect can manifest itself as significant changes in identity, appearance, relationships and ideals. Let’s be honest, Saturn is a pain in the ass. As a matter of fact, I have not seen a single person that didn’t struggle with their natal or transit Saturn at some point of their life. But it is also an opportunity to grow stronger. Some believe that transiting Saturn is about integrating some karmic lessons that we must learn, some say that it is a time of duties and delays. In any case, the theme here is HARD WORK and MATURITY- and I think it all starts with ACCEPTANCE. Maturity comes in many ways through different stages of life. If you went through transit Saturn conjunct Ascendant as a young child- you may be forced to mature early by something difficult or traumatic in your life. This had been my personal experience when I went through bankruptcy and divorce of my family and developed an eating disorder at a very young age. Looking back years later, that time of my life had definitely made me a stronger person. Of course I don’t believe a child should go through adult hardships in order to grow, but that was my personal experience and I had no other choice but to accept it and take responsibility for myself. If you are going through your transit Saturn conjunct Ascendant in your adult years, experiences usually revolve around shedding your ''immature'' skin and taking even more responsibilities. This can be about having children, finding your work-life balance, moving out of your comfort zone, a more serious tone in relationships, undergoing physical changes or learning the value of your time. To give you more context, a client of mine once referred her transit Saturn conjunct Ascendant as ‘’draining, dull and chaotic’’, as she was juggling multiple jobs while adjusting to being a single parent during that time. You can look for where transiting Saturn resides in your natal chart to see what kind of lessons are being brought to you. Your ascendant sign can also give you a hint on how you can accept and integrate those lessons. For example, a Virgo rising may feel more health conscious or self criticizing during this transit. A Cancer rising may need to exert more focus into their home, security and loved ones or feel the need to isolate from others for a while. Overall, even though transit Saturn conjunct Ascendant often feels like carrying a burden, if you stand up for yourself and do your “Saturnian” homework, in the end it will all pay off. My advice is to find your strength and patience from within, reflect on what part of your identity needs evolving, and most importantly, don’t get frustrated when the satisfying outcome you want doesn’t happen instantly. This is how your maturity journey begins. Good luck! Return to Astrology

  • The Hanged Man and Empress Tarot Combination in Love, Work, Health and More

Note: Meaning behind the tarot combinations greatly differ based on the order of the cards you receive. These interpretations are written for when you receive the Hanged Man as the first card and the Empress as the second or ''the outcome'' card. There are some subtle similarities between the Hanged Man and Empress that you may have missed. The Hanged Man is 12th card of Major Arcana, combined (1+2) number 3. The Empress is a Major Arcana card as well, represented by the number 3. Numerological value of this combination is 3+3= 6, which represents seeking for love, harmony and balance. Astrologically, the Hanged Man card is planet Neptune and the Empress is represent by Venus. Neptune and Venus are similar in some ways. While Neptune is all about harmony with spirit, Venus focuses on harmony with self and others. Neptune and Venus energies together (aka the Hanged Man and Empress) symbolize dreaminess, creativity, and divine intervention. Overall, the Hanged man and Empress together is encouraging you to stop fighting the current (the Hanged Man) and move with the flow in order to reach harmony (the Empress). The Hanged Man and Empress Tarot Combination in Love and Feelings It is possible that you had been waiting for a change in your love life, which is represented by the Hanged Man (Especially if Hanged man represents your past). Whether you are in a relationship or single, things had been at a stalemate for a while. You may be feeling like you are suspended in time, head over the clouds, somehow unable to move forward. Next to the card of standstill and surrender-the Hanged Man, you have the Empress as the solution. Empress is all about power of love and divine feminine. If you had been ignoring these parts of yourself, it may be time to embrace your Empress energy. During this time, you can practice more self-love and compassion. It is all about giving yourself the love you want to receive from others. Take your time to explore your creative side. Try to see things from a different point of view. Instead of rushing and chasing- which are masculine actions, bask in your receiving and nurturing energy. The Hanged Man and Empress tarot combination as someone’s feelings suggests that things will move slow. Even though they do have loving feelings (represented by the Empress), they may not open up to you immediately. The Hanged Man and Empress Tarot Combination in Work and Money With the Hanged Man in your reading, it is suggested that you are not happy with your current work/money situation. You may be ‘’stuck’’ in a situation for a long while. It may be that you are unemployed, unable to leave your current work, or perhaps struggling to make the ends meet. You may also be feeling foggy and less motivated. Whatever the situation is, the next card in your reading brings good news. The Empress is represented by Earth element, which brings abundance and balance in these matters. The Hanged Man and Empress together suggests that things will change for the better, but you need to be patient. Your situation requires you to take a step back and reflect on the bigger picture. You also need to be flexible and adopt different strategies or try new things. Your creativity is also boosted during this time. An alternative meaning to this combination is that you may receive support from a powerful and caring person represented as the Empress. The Hanged Man and Empress Tarot Combination in Health You may be feeling fatigued and lethargic. The Hanged man may also represent being moody or depressed. Good news is, the Empress here brings a boost to your energy levels. Recovery process may be slow, but this combination is generally good news in health matters. With the Hanged Man and Empress together, there is a need to take care of yourself more holistically. The Hanged man focuses on spiritual healing, whereas the Empress represents your body and emotions. Empress is also a card that is linked with fertility and motherhood, so this combination may suggest a pregnancy. Is the Hanged man and Empress together a yes or a no? Most likely yes, but you need to patient as things will unfold slower than expected. Return to Tarot Combinations

  • Pluto in Partner's House | Synastry House Overlays

Pluto in Partner’s 1st House Pluto in partner’s 1st house can be a welcome change, or an undesirable and intimidating force depending on how the Plutonian energy is being handled here. In this synastry house overlay, Pluto is bringing their passion and powerful charisma to the connection. First impression of the 1st house person is an intense, inexplicable attraction. This interaction can lead to an empowering metamorphosis for 1st house person. If Pluto is in a challenging position or makes harsh aspects in Pluto person’s natal chart, this can make 1st house person feel like their privacy being invaded. Pluto might also obsess over how the 1st house person looks and presents themselves. They may try to take control over these decisions or get overly jealous- which can lead to a constant power play. This is especially true if the afflicted Pluto is close to the ASC of the house person (less than 5 degrees). Pluto in Partner’s 2nd House Having partner’s Pluto in 2nd house means that they are going to transform the house of money, self image and values. This transformation can go either way, depending on the entirety of the synastry chart and Pluto person’s intentions. Partner’s Pluto in 2nd house can be beneficial if 2nd house person has a strong sense of self worth and healthy boundaries. Pluto here can bring powerful changes by boosting 2nd house person’s confidence. 2nd house person finds their aura and ideas fascinating and may even see them as a role model or a financial advisor. On the other hand, a negative Pluto energy in 2nd house can look like Pluto hiding debts, spending recklessly or being too stingy, demanding control over finances or positions, money driven conflicts- Even depleting 2nd house person’s self worth and resources. Pluto in Partner’s 3rd House Conversations with Pluto will be transforming- the rest depends on Pluto’s personal aspects. With this placement, there is an intellectual fascination at first- It is as if Pluto’s words have a magnetic power over 3rd house person. There is a potential for Pluto to broaden 3rd house person’s horizons and boost their self expression. However, an afflicted Pluto may mask their true intentions at first. In this case, Pluto tries to gain more access to the 3rd house person’s mind, analyzing them from the shadows. This outward façade later than drops- and suddenly it can all turn into a confusing roller coaster of hot and cold, mind games and coercion for the 3rd house person. Pluto in Partner’s 4th House In a synastry chart, 4th house is a sensitive and potentially problematic place for Pluto to be lurking around. How this interaction will go depends on Pluto person’s intentions, and how comfortable 4th house person feels with having Pluto in their innermost life. If the 4th house has trauma around their childhood, home and safety, Pluto person can ignite a transformation journey of healing and soul searching for them- especially if it sits close to the IC point. Pluto may also create bonds with 4th house person’s family, or they may desire to create a family together. On the other hand, an afflicted Pluto person may see this 4th house access as an opportunity to boss around the house matters, interfere in their family relationships, or bring uncomfortable or repressed issues to the surface. Pluto in Partner’s 5th House Pluto here can bring a lot of pleasure and sexuality to the 5th house person. This can go anywhere from trying new hobbies and social activities to experimenting with kinks and fetishes together. They can also help 5th house succeed in their creative pursuits or discover new talents. Especially if there are other planets in the 5th house- which is a very fertile house, having partner’s Pluto there can ignite a desire to have children together. In the worst case scenario, an afflicted Pluto may get too obsessed or bossy in the relationship, to the point where they try to control house person’s time and activities, or use sexual manipulation to get what they want. Pluto in Partner’s 6th House Pluto person desires to transform 6th house person’s daily routines. This can bring lots of beneficial changes for the house person if they are open to receive Pluto’s advice and Pluto has good intentions. On the other hand, an afflicted Pluto may be too controlling and forceful. Some examples to these would be pushing 6th house person to change their diet or exercise more- even though 6th house doesn’t want those changes. Pluto in Partner’s 7th House It is very likely that Pluto person wants to assume the ‘’dominant’’ role in the relationship. The general theme here is, whether the relationship eventually works out or not- Pluto person is there to transform 7th house person’s core views on love and partnerships- this includes values, boundaries and ideals. This interaction mostly depends on how well Pluto energy is being handled in both the rest of the synastry chart and Pluto’s natal chart. If there are many positive personal aspects to Pluto, 7th house person will most likely see them as a powerful role model. This kind of connection is hard to break. However, an afflicted Pluto in partner’s 7th house often comes across obsessive, manipulative and controlling. This placement may also be a sign of money driven conflicts, jealousy and secrets in the relationship. Pluto in Partner’s 8th House 8th house is where Pluto is in its full force. But 8th house matters are also very vulnerable and hidden, so someone else’s Plutonic energy is usually not a comfortable experience for everyone. First impact of this overlay is magnetic sexual attraction. 8th house person finds Pluto very powerful, mysterious and charming. Together, they may delve into topics such as taboo, mystery and sex. If a bond of trust can be accomplished here, Pluto and the 8th house have a potential to connect on a very deep level. If the Pluto person’s natal chart has difficult aspects to their Pluto or to the house person’s planets, this interaction may be too overwhelming. In this case, Pluto may find themselves obsessively curious about 8th house secrets. They may be asking a lot of intimate questions, about sex or shared resources. But Pluto likes to keep their own privacy and intentions hidden- Therefore they may not be so forthcoming in return. Pluto in Partner’s 9th House This overlay indicates that Pluto has a strong influence on 9th house person life philosophy, spirituality and wishes. Pluto themselves may also have strong views about these topics that 9th house finds transforming. (Especially if 9th house has other planets). Whether it’s going to have a good or bad impact on the house person depends on other personal aspects to Pluto and the rest of the synastry chart. Generally speaking, a good Plutonian energy can bring a lot of expansion to 9th house persons life. An afflicted Pluto on the other hand may try to manipulate and push their beliefs on 9th house person’s world views instead of supporting them to expand their mind and find their own path. There may also be some travel involved decisions together. Pluto in Partner’s 10th House With this placement, Pluto will impact 10th house person’s public image, business and life path in general. Pluto may either try to change and control 10th house persons goals and decisions or support and encourage them- depending on how well Pluto energy is handled. If Pluto’s intentions are well, with their influence 10th house person can excel in their achievements. Pluto can be a great business advisor for them. In worst case scenario, negative Plutonian energy can use coercive and scandalous tactics to destroy 10th house reputation. They can force 10th house to change career paths or push them for destructive decisions. Pluto in Partner’s 11th House Pluto has a desire to transform 11th house person’s social circle, companions and friends. Pluto can help transform 11th house in a good way, introducing them to powerful friends and groups. If the 11th house person had issues socializing before, they may feel more confident and encouraged to expand their circle. If Pluto person has negative aspects to Pluto in their natal chart, this may have an unpleasant effect on the house person. An afflicted Pluto may try to control and manipulate 11th house persons friends and colleagues, spread rumors to destroy these relationships or obsess over them. This may be an effort to keep the 11th house person all to themselves. Pluto in Partner’s 12th House Pluto in partner’s 12th house can be a scary or spiritual experience depending on various other factors. It is hard to be sure what to expect from this interaction, simply because of the hidden nature of both 12th house and Pluto. 12th house is where our deepest thoughts, repressed psychological aspects, past life burdens reside, hence it is one of the most difficult spots in synastry. Someone else’s Pluto on this already complicated house can get things really overwhelming for the house person, especially if they have other planets there. With this synastry overlay, Pluto has a lot of ‘’private’’ access, like 12th house person’s self undoing patterns, hidden motives and secrets. So if Pluto has negative intentions, they can easily use this sensitive information to manipulate 12th house on a deep level. For example, Pluto person may push 12th house into loneliness and isolation in order to control them. And, it is hard for 12th house to be truly aware of what this interaction is, because most of it happens on an unconscious level. When the house person is dealing with Pluto and they are not quite sure about Pluto’s intentions, they should trust their gut. If 12th house is being manipulated, eventually they may feel a sense of ‘’uneasieness’’, or agitated and scared around Pluto. On the other hand if it is a positive Pluto influence, they can feel understood on another level. With Pluto’s support and love, 12th house can heal a lot of past burdens and fears. • IC Contacts in Synastry

What does IC mean in Synastry? IC point- short for Imum Coeli, is also known as ‘’deepest of sky’’ in Latin and holds the key to the most private parts of your inner world: your roots, core foundations, influence of family legacy on your identity. The lessons IC holds are hidden in your past until you turn inward and face the depths of your subconscious. In most house systems, Imum Coeli is located at the cusp of the fourth house in a natal chart. Midheaven (MC) and IC are intricately interlinked- therefore we cannot talk about one without the other. This axis is a personal roadmap from the past to the future, from the dark to light, your inner child to highest self. Therefore it is a very significant point in synastry, with some similarities to the Moon. IC contacts in synastry does not guarantee that the relationship will work in the long term. They are usually clues in understanding how the planet person will influence IC in their Midheaven journey, and how they relate to each other in a core level. IC conjunct Sun in Synastry Sun on partner’s IC feels warm and generous. They may have similar ideals in family, home, relationships, perhaps even similar upbringings- So they relate to each other very easily. There is a sense of being a ‘’family’’ together. But Sun also highlights IC person’s negative emotional patterns, childhood, essentially deepest part of their soul- Which can be uncomfortable. Overall, this dynamic can help IC person to reach their highest Midheaven potential by revealing more about their identity. An afflicted Sun may come off as egotistical and pretentious when it comes to these topics. IC conjunct Moon in Synastry Moon on IC in synastry can be a deeply nurturing and safe aspect- or hurtful and overly sensitive depending on Moon person’s emotional awareness. If this contact reminds you of Moon conjunct Moon aspect in synastry, you are right- IC point is even more sensitive than the Moon when it comes to the inner personal life. With IC conjunct Moon, partners may be emotionally enmeshed- meaning they rely on each other for their emotional needs. Their bonding point may be a similar upbringing, sense of familiarity, or mutual interests in the matters of home, roots and family. There is nothing wrong with enjoying your time together and creating a bond of love and support, perhaps a family. However, if there are lack of boundaries, or individuality, IC conjunct Moon may lead to codependency problems. Alternatively, these issues may be familiar patterns for the IC person. IC conjunct Mercury in Synastry Mercury can help IC person intellectualize their deep psychological patterns and understand them better. They often introduce IC person to new ideas and methods as well. With Mercury-IC contact, they have a potential to uncover and analyze IC person’s roots, heritage, ancestors, upbringing and ideals. Or they can just spend great time talking, having intellectual activites together. If their communication styles don’t match, IC may think that Mercury person is being too nosy or insensitive at times. IC conjunct Venus in Synastry Partner’s Venus on IC feels warm and tender. Venus sympathizes with not only IC’s habitual emotional patterns, but also they have similar views on ‘’idyllic’’ family life. Venus-IC contact suggests that they are capable of creating a beautiful and pleasant home together. In synastry, IC conjunct Venus has a similar meaning to Moon conjunct Venus. Venus can bring more self love and appreciation to IC person’s inner world, making them feel more secure and confident. With Venus person’s presence in their life, IC can also have new artistic and social experiences. If the Venus is afflicted/negatively aspected, Venus doesn’t really want to help resolve rooted issues that IC may have. With IC conjunct Venus, there may be a tendency to sweep things under the rug and keep up appearances instead when there is an emerging issue. At times, Venus person may try to ‘mother’ IC, or smother them with affection. Is too much of affection a bad thing? It is relative. What would one call smothering could be other’s ideal way of receiving love. But in this case, it might be a selfish act- Venus may be showing affection to IC in order to receive more themselves. IC conjunct Mars in Synastry Mars person brings instinctiveness and action to the IC matters. In romantic relationships, Mars is a fiery force that ignites IC person’s sexual side. This is an emotionally intense aspect, but powerful in so many ways. If IC person feels lost in finding their MC (Midheaven) purpose, not knowing what actions to take in order to break past patterns and grow, Mars person can help them move forward. Negative side of the Mars conjunct IC is that Mars, knowingly or not, can be too aggressive and invasive at times. This can cause frequent conflict and backlash, especially in the matters of home and security. If Mars pushes IC person’s boundaries, or tries to dominate them, IC may consider them insensitive and forceful. Mars in return may think that IC is being overly sensitive. IC conjunct Jupiter in Synastry With IC-Jupiter contact, Jupiter can bring a great deal of expansion and luck to IC person’s domestic and private life. Jupiter is also a planet of higher education, so with this conjunction IC can learn a lot about their psychological and emotional patterns. In the company of Jupiter, IC feels free to explore different philosophies, ideas and concepts about home, family and foundations of their life. An afflicted Jupiter can be too aggressive or insensitive about these topics. IC conjunct Saturn in Synastry Saturn is a heavy planet- and when it is on a such sensitive angle like IC, it might feel suffocating for IC person at times. Since Saturn contacts often binding, they may either feel mutually responsible in the relationship or ‘’trapped’’. Saturn person can be cold, detached and controlling -or can provide a great sense of security to the IC person, depending on the Saturn and the rest of the synastry chart. When it comes to the matters of family, home and financial matters, there is a potential for Saturn to bring seriousness, duty and maturity to IC person. It is possible for IC to benefit from these ‘restrictions’. Given the sensitivity of the IC angle, Saturn should be more emotionally open, and IC should be willing to listen what Saturn has to say. IC conjunct Uranus in Synastry Uranus contact on IC in synastry is a force of liberation- and sometimes rebellion. Uranus being known as the most unpredictable planet, sudden and unexpected changes may be brought into IC person’s private world. With this, Uranus may bring unstable dynamics and distruptions to IC person’s habits and domestic environment. On a more positive note, Uranus person can point to where IC needs to break their shackles and what habits to break free from. It can be a great source of inspiration on IC person’s psychological growth. IC conjunct Neptune in Synastry Neptune can be a force of spirituality, out of the box thinking and compassion in IC person’s inner world. With Neptune on IC in synastry, attraction is mystical, unique, and sometimes even psychic. IC person can have spiritual and psychological revelations with this Neptunian influence. However, an afflicted Neptune may come off as vague and deceptive, bringing a false sense of security or a ‘’fantasy’’ to the IC person. Especially if it is a tight orb, Neptune can easily get under IC person’s skin. It also talks about addictions and betrayals, in matters of home and family. IC conjunct Pluto in Synastry Pluto on IC in a synastry chart represents an intense attraction, to say the least. Pluto has a subsconcious influence on IC person’s private world. It is not only sexual or romantic- This also includes family affairs, finances, security and roots. This connection can truly transform the IC person and help them understand their deep rooted emotional patterns. With Pluto’s support, they can ‘ ‘destroy’ their negative traits. However, Pluto also has a dark side- IC person can feel manipulated, controlled, or at the very least find Pluto to be too insensitive. Boundaries are very important here. At least in the beginning, IC person should not immediately succumb to Pluto’s magnetic pull- Instead, focus on building a foundation of trust and honesty. Return to Astrology

In this case, Pallas conjunct Moon is also known as one of the soulmate aspects. Attraction that this aspect brings is beyond the physical, it is transcendental, undesribable, resonating on a deeper emotional level. But if both Pallas and Moon have high emotional awareness, this creates a beautiful and unique connection that will steadily enrich their inner world. Return to Astrology

  • 13 Tarot Cards That Predict Marriage

Note: These cards are not in a particular order and there can be more cards/combinations that can predict marriage in a tarot reading. The Hierophant Hierophant can be considered as the card of holy matrimony, therefore it is a symbol of union in Tarot. Another meaning of the card is conforming to the sociatal expectations. It can represent being involved with a traditional partner, getting married or attending a wedding. On the other hand, Some readers dont like to see Hierophant in love readings because it has an element of rigidity and conformism. If the overall reading is negative, Hierophant may represent feeling constrained in a commitment. Number 5 is associated with freedom and change. The Lovers The Lovers card’s theme is union of duality, and the Rider-Waite deck illustrates this with a depiction of Adam and Eve story. The Lovers card most frequently symbolizes harmony, love and cooperation between two people. It is about coming together with another person to pursue a common goal. In a love reading, whether it indicates strong communication, physical attraction or a soulmate, love is surely present in your life. You are infatuated by one another. Perhaps even though you just met, you feel like you know each other for a long time. Since the card’s general theme is ‘’union of two’’, we can talk about marriage, engagement and new relationships here. If the overall reading is negative or Lovers is in reversed position, one of you may be choosing path of avoidance rather than being direct and honest, or your life views are too different from each other. In order to turn this card upright, don’t get caught up in emotional flare-ups. First understand where you stand in your relationship, what works for you and what doesn’t. If you are single- you may be too caught up in the past at this time. Number 6 represents balance, love and union. The Justice In many ways, the Justice card is interlinked with Maat. In Ancient Egypt, Maat was the goddess who symbolized concepts of morality, order, justice and fairness. She is also seen wearing a red robe as a symbol of wisdom. To this day, we see judicial attire in red – such as high court judges in crimson robes. Since this card is about laws, marriage contract or legalities can also be indicated. When interpreted as someone’s feelings, the Justice represents fairness and compassion. If the overall reading is negative or justice is in reversed,it may indicate disharmony or divorce. Take a step back to figure out what’s causing the imbalance, and what’s your role in it. If you are being treated unfairly, you need to acknowledge the issues in your relationship instead of being in denial. If you are searching for love, the advice is to first assess yourself objectively and honestly. This will help you avoid the repeating patterns of the past relationships. Number 11 is a master number, representing awareness, enlightenment and wisdom. The Empress The Empress’s astral ruler is Venus. Planet of beauty and love certainly offers a blessing in love related readings. It speaks of a time you feel more attractive and passionate. Your connection with your significant other gets stronger and more harmonious. You can expect a romantic gesture, surprise or proposal! This card is all about expressions of affection, love, caring and passion. So, if you are single, probably not for long! Number 3 represents harmony, home and union. The Sun The Sun card represents a time of love, harmony and joy in your relationship. In future position, previous problems, obstacles and heartbreaks will be resolved through honesty and openness. It is also a card of celebrations and ceremonies, such as an engagement, pregnancy or marriage. If you are single, the Sun gives you an extra boost of confidence, charm and positivity. People are drawn to your beautiful energy. As feelings of someone, they see you as their ‘Sun’. You are uplifting their spirits and they find you magnetic and fun! The Sun is not only the most positive card in the deck, it’s presence also illuminates other cards in the spread. When together with this card, the negative effects of other cards are often reduced. In reversed position, it is still a very positive card. Usually this reversal means there is still a bit more work to do before you receive the full effects of the Sun. Number 19 - which is reduced to 1, represents achievements, strength and independence. Ace of Cups The Ace of Cups is the birth of love. Since the cup resembles a womb, it can also herald childbirth, fertility and pregnancy. It indicates unfolding of a new, exciting relationship that may possibly turn into a marriage/union. If the overall reading is negative or Ace of Cups is reversed, remember that by accepting yourself for who you truly are; you will release the emotional blocks, old wounds and thought patterns that no longer serves you. Whether what you are going through is an unrequited love, breakup or doubt for the future; healing is what you need and deserve. You deserve love, right now, including your own. Number 1 represents manifestation, creation and newness. Ten of Cups Ten of Cups is one of the best cards to receive in love readings. As seen in the imagery, the Ten of Cups is also highly associated with family, marriage and children. It represents a place or a person that you call home. It is about experiencing abundance of peace and joy in your personal relationships, with a loving partner by your side. If the overall reading is negative or Ten of Cups is in reversed position, this may indicate some sort of disharmony in love life. But it is such a positive card that I usually interpret this as a temporary issue (unless it is paired with cards such as the Tower, Judgement,Death etc). Number 10 represents completion and new beginnings. Two of Cups In a ceremonial event, a couple is switching their cups, which is a traditional ritual in some cultures as means of pledging loyalty. Between them the caduceus of Hermes spirals down; an ancient symbol of wisdom, negotiation and trade. And when their cups meet, two hearts become one. The Two of Cups depicts soulmates. If you are in a relationship, it shows mutual respect, support and love which continually grows in harmony. Marriage, engagement or childbirth are all very possible. If you are single, it is very likely that you are going to make a connection that has potential to become a long lasting, loving relationship. If the overall reading is negative or Two of Cups is in reversed position, it can sometimes indicate falling out of love, co-dependency, break ups or arguments. In your relationship, you may feel disconnected to your partner. Number 2 represents union. Three of Cups Celebrations, parties & special occasions are what the Three of Cups mainly talks about. Birthdays, weddings, family get togethers, graduations or baby showers are some of the examples to this. In more detail, the Three of Cups represents completing a significant achievement, collaborative creativity or birth of something positive. You may be harmoniously working together towards a common goal or a charitable cause with others. Whatever the case is, expect great happiness, success and meaningful connections that will last long and grow more. If the overall reading is negative or 3 of cups is in reverse position, it may represent a love triangle or a third party interfering in the relationship. Alternatively, a planned celebration such as a wedding may be delayed. Number 3 represents creation, collaboration and harmony. Four of Wands The Four of Wands can be about fresh starts as well as a long-awaited victory. Because the card highlights the harmony in personal relationships and home, it can be interpreted as long-awaited return of someone dear, going home, uniting family members, marriage and expecting a baby. 4 of wands is also seen by many readers as a soulmate indicator. Number 4 represents foundations, home and long-term plans. The World The World card brings abundance of joy, deeper connections, commitments and new relationships. Ties to the past and unclosed chapters will come to a conclusion, you will find closure, hope and resolve you had been waiting for. You may decide to take your relationship to the next level with a marriage, engagement etc. Karmic or long-distance relationships are also highly indicated here. The World also speaks about endings- so if you are in a situation that is no longer working out for you, you need to complete the cycle and be open to the new. If the overall reading is negative or world card is in reversed The World in reversed often puts your love life into a re-evaluation stage. It may be that your relationship is stagnating, you are not able to move on from the past or you may be asking yourself if this is truly what you want and deserve. Try to see the big picture here. You need to trust the divine timing and let it go. Trust that universe will bring your wish to you when you need it. In the meantime, stay open hearted to the possibility of a new love. By combining the opposite nature of 2 and 1, we reach the number 21; which represents transformation and balance. Ten of Pentacles More often than not, the Ten of Pentacles highlights the matters of family and home. It can suggest that you are highly involved in deepening the roots of your personal relationships at this time. This could mean buying a new home, having a large family, spending more time with your loved ones or marriage. If you are planning about a long-term commitment with your partner such as marriage, having a baby or buying a home, this card is very favorable. If you are single person with a desire for a deeper, more meaningful relationship, soon you will be able to experience it. Number 10 represents completion, fulfillment and new potentials. The Devil The reason why I add the Devil in this list is, in love and marriage readings, I sometimes see the Devil card when there are addictions, unhealthy attachments, codependency or perhaps abuse present in a relationship. It can also relate to karmic connections that need to be resolved. Overall if you receive the Devil card while asking for marriage, now it is time for you to establish your boundaries, needs and desires: And if someone is not respecting those, it may be time to let go. Even if you have to make a heartbreaking choice, don’t let your emotions cloud your best judgement. Number 15 represents ambition, independence and energetic nature.

  • Vertex Aspects in Synastry

What is Vertex in a synastry chart? Vertex in synastry represents unexplainable, or ‘’fated’’ contacts. A lot of married couples have significant Vertex aspects in their synastry chart, however Vertex aspects alone does not guarantee a happily ever after. In order to know more about durability of a connection, I suggest checking Saturn aspects in synastry. The main theme of Vertex aspects in synastry is that there will be a very significant, possibly life changing experience between the two people. It is as if their destinies align for a common soul mission. This might be a moment where you meet your soulmate, a painful karmic lesson or a short lived attraction. Don’t worry, if you don’t have Vertex aspects in your synastry chart it doesn’t mean that your connection is not special, it is just another thing to look at. This is why it is best to look at vertex as a point of confirmation, after analyzing the synastry chart entirely. With Vertex aspects, I suggest mainly focusing on conjunctions, oppositions and squares within a tight orb (one degree, at most two degrees). Since trines and sextiles are not very significant with Vertex connections, I won’t be mentioning them here. MOON-Vertex Aspects in Synastry Moon conjunct Vertex With this aspect, there are coincidental or ‘’fated’’ events that brings them together. Vertex person unconsciously feels an emotional comfort around moon. In return, moon opens up their nurturing side to Vertex. There is an unspoken understanding and support to one another’s emotions. Moon opposite Vertex Just like Moon conjunct Vertex, the way they meet or some events surrounding the relationship feels destined. However, opposite aspect indicates that there may be some major differences between them, which may turn into arguments or bond them closer. This aspect depends on the level of emotional openness they cultivate. Moon square Vertex Vertex person is directly affected by moon’s emotionality. Meaning, there is usually a lesson of development for Vertex person to experience through Moon. Whatever it is awaiting them, whether or not Vertex is ready for Moon’s lesson, they are both drawn to this experience unconsciously. And just like Moon opposite Vertex, resolution depends on the level of openness they share. SUN-Vertex Aspects in Synastry Sun conjunct Vertex Sun has a beneficial influence on vertex person’s self esteem and identity, and they may illuminate some character aspects of Vertex that they haven’t explored yet. There is also an instant physical attraction which may feel like love at first sight. This aspect brings an excellent opportunity for spiritual growth as well as a long lasting relationship. Sun opposite Vertex Sun has some qualities about them that Vertex person desires in their ideal partner. There is a mutual attraction, although usually Vertex person feels this more. Even though in some ways their characters may be different, they can fill in pieces for each other- it is a balancing act. Sun square Vertex This aspect can be described as clash of wills. There may be some struggles and obstacles in creating a deeper connection, perhaps some unexpected events, but there is still a lot of passion for one another. VENUS-Vertex Aspects in Synastry Venus conjunct Vertex Vertex person sees Venus as very charming and attractive, in some cases idealizing their partner. A long lasting, deeply romantic connection is very possible. Venus conjunct Vertex represents a lot of similarities in personal taste and aesthetics. There may also be a mutually beneficial financial interaction. Venus opposite Vertex Vertex person is subconsciously attracted to the way Venus carry themselves. Even if it is not their usual type, there is something special and beautiful about them, perhaps even a feeling of destiny. Venus square Vertex Venus square Vertex in synastry often indicates a fated romantic encounter. However, this aspect may come with some triggers. There may be a conflict between ones idea of love and the other’s behavior, or too much idealization in the beginning. MARS-Vertex Aspects in Synastry Mars conjunct Vertex In a synastry chart, this is a highly passionate and energetically charged aspect. Mars person will also support Vertex in achieving their goals in some way. Mars opposite Vertex Just like Mars conjunct Vertex, this aspect is also very sexual and energetic. On the other hand, Mars person’s assertive/aggressive nature may sometimes irritate Vertex, causing some heated arguments. Mars square Vertex Squares represent blocked energies, therefore there may be some obstacles in the way of creating a deeper connection. Despite the strong pull and sexual tension between them, Mars may be too pushy at times, making Vertex uncomfortable. Return to Astrology

  • The CHARIOT and EMPEROR Tarot Combination in Love, Work and Finances

The first thing that comes to mind when we think of the Chariot is movement. As number 7 suggests, Chariot is constantly on the move towards the next goal, the next adventure, the next level of awareness. Meanwhile the Emperor-commonly known as the authority figure of Tarot, symbolized by number 4, prefers to establish firm roots and stability. Both of them are action oriented individualists. Both of them deal with the themes of control and determination. The Chariot and Emperor Combination in Astrology and Numerology In numerology, the Chariot and Emperor tarot combination (7+4) is represented by number 11. And since both of these cards belong to Major Arcana, your reading suggests the start of a significant long-term change. Astrologically speaking, Emperor card is connected with Aries, and the Chariot (sometimes) Cancer. This suggests challenges between emotionality and action; but if they manage to cooperate, these two zodiac signs can accomplish great things together. The Chariot and Emperor Tarot Combination in Love You and your person have very strong personalities and similar goals. When you want to achieve something, you are both very driven and passionate about it. The problem is, Chariot-Emperor dynamic in a relationship quickly can turn into a clash of egos if they don't see eye to eye. Both of these characters (especially the Emperor) may come off very rigid, stubborn and controlling due to their innate selfishness. If this is a problem in your connection, work with your similarities despite your differences. Try being more open and vulnerable to each other. If you are in a relationship, The Chariot and Emperor combination may also suggest moving towards (the Chariot) a more serious commitment( the Emperor): this may represent an engagement, marriage, living together etc. Chariot may also suggest long distance relationships and travelling. If you are single, now it is the time to think of what kind of future you want. Dont be afraid to show yourself to the world, confidence is sexy! The Chariot and Emperor Tarot Combination in Work and Finances Chariot and Emperor together generally represent a major improvement in your work life and finances. Chariot as the symbol of willpower and overcoming obstacles, and Emperor as a powerful leader, this combination can suggest a very profitable partnership or contract. The Chariot also deals with movement and travel. If this is the case, expect work related travel or relocation. Whatever your goal is, these cards are affirming that as long as you are determined to work hard for it, you will achieve it. Is Chariot and Emperor combination a yes or a no? The main theme here is that the desired outcome relies on your determination. So it is generally interpreted as a yes.
